On behalf of the entire Utah Pride Center organization - THANK YOU! What an incredible success our Utah Pride Festival was this year, and it is all thanks to your support for our work and the queer community of Utah. Our Festival theme this year was "UNAPOLOGETIC," and we vow to continue to be louder and prouder than ever before. As we have always done, we refuse to say we are sorry for being who we are and loving who we love.
We hope you got to experience that beauty and love for yourself at this year's Festival and invite you to remain involved with Utah Pride Center year-round. Pride isn't a weekend, or a Festival, or a celebration - it's a spirit, an energy that can be carried in our hearts every single day. Pride doesn't belong to any organization, venue, performer, or sponsor - Pride truly is for each and every one of us.
Many folks don't know that our Festival funds the life-affirming programs and services we offer to our community all year. From ticket sales, beverage purchases, or even just a social media tag - you helped to make a difference. However, we were regrettably forced to evacuate our Festival for over four hours on Saturday, 6/3, due to extreme weather. We deeply and sincerely apologize to all of our guests for this having a negative impact on your Pride experience. We are working hard to mitigate the immense losses caused by this closure and are spreading the word that the needs of our community are ever-present. If you feel so compelled to make a financial donation to ensure the survival of our Center AND our Festival, you can make a tax-deductible contribution here:
We made some incredible memories together and are delighted to provide you with these links to the thousands of beautiful photos taken but our media team. Once again, thank you. Simply put, there is no Festival without the amazing queer and allied communities of Utah coming together to celebrate Pride. Our rainbow flags fly for anyone and everyone!
