Vendor Insurance Form

In order to participate in the Utah Pride Festival in a booth space, Utah Pride must receive proof of business/organization insurance ($1,000,000 coverage) naming "Utah Pride Festival" and the "City of Salt Lake" as additionally insured. Vendors will not receive booth placement until insurance form has been received. Most insurance companies will provide this to you free.

If your insurance company cannot or does not provide this, Utah Pride will refer you to our low-cost, short-term policy insurance carrier, Casswood Insurance Agency. If you are using Casswood Insurance Agency, you must send the application and payment for liability insurance to Casswood Insurance Agency, not the Utah Pride Center. The Utah Pride Center cannot send Casswood Insurance applications and payments to the Casswood Insurance Agency for vendors. When you receive a Certificate of Liability Insurance, send a copy to:

Utah Pride Festival
c/o Utah Pride Center
355 North 300 West
Salt Lake City, UT 84103

Or fax them to the Utah Pride Center at 801-521-5215.

Tips for Exhibitors/Vendors

  • Be sure to read all documentation carefully. Incomplete or inaccurate applications may prevent us from assigning you a space or processing your application.
  • With over 150 vendors, consider how you will attract the average festival-goer to your booth. Giveaways, games, decorations, and outgoing people staffing your booth will increase your success at the Utah Pride Festival. Again, presentation is everything!
  • Get the most out of Pride. While a booth is a great way to reach the Pride audience, you might also consider becoming a sponsor, participating in the Pride Parade, and attending other Pride events.
  • Bring out your supporters. Before the Festival, why not send an e-mail blast to your mailing list letting your supporters know that you’ll be there and encouraging them to drop by?
  • Plan ahead. Make decisions early about which equipment, supplies, products, brochures and decorations you will use, who will be responsible for bringing them, who will staff your booth throughout the day, and what your goals for the day are.
  • Bring your sense of humor! Remember that the Utah Pride Festival is a volunteer-run event and that little mix-ups can occur, but we will always do our best to solve your problems and make sure you enjoy your experience. Please let us know if we can help.
  • The Utah Pride Festival reserves the right to ask similar Food Vendors for menu variety.
